Palm extends gains on strength in Dalian soyoil, weaker ringgit

JAKARTA: Malaysian palm oil futures rose for a second session on Thursday, tracking strength in Dalian edible oils, but gains were capped by a firm ringgit and weak crude oil.
The benchmark palm oil contract for February delivery on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange gained 34 ringgit, or 0.84%, to 4,058 ringgit ($983.04)a metric ton by 0241 GMT.
