ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar chaired a high-level meeting focused on the promotion of sports in Pakistan and strengthening the country’s capacity to host major sporting events.

According to a Foreign Ministry statement issued on Monday, Dar underscored the importance of broad-based consultations with all stakeholders for an assessment of logistical, administrative, and technical feasibility in planning future engagements.

The meeting was attended by SAPM Tariq Bajwa, Senior Minister of Punjab, Minister for Sports Balochistan, Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch, Secretary IPC, provincial sports secretaries, and senior representatives of the Pakistan Olympic Association.
