LAHORE: A delegation of the 53rd Common Probationary Officers of the Civil Service Academy (CSA) visited the historic Poonch House and Sir Shadi Lal building in Lahore recently.
They were warmly received by Director Administration Industries, Javeed Ahmad, along with Conservation Consultant Malik Maqsood Ahmed.
The delegation described the visit as “inspirational, eye-opening, and a powerful reminder of Punjab’s glorious heritage,” expressing profound appreciation to Secretary Tourism, Archaeology and Museums Punjab, Dr Ehsan Bhutta, and the Industries department for curating such an exceptional exhibition on heritage preservation.
Under the CM Magnificent Punjab Vision, the officers were particularly impressed by the Bhagat Singh Gallery, the 1931 courtroom replica at Poonch House, and the beautifully restored Sir Shadi Lal building, which now features three dedicated galleries and two replicas of courtrooms, including new galleries on Sir Shadi Lal and Ghazi Ilm Din Shaheed.
