It is my pleasure to welcome all participants and stakeholders to the Best Corporate and Sustainability Report Awards (BCSRA) 2024, co-organized by ICMA and ICAP.

As Co-Chairman of the Joint Committee, I am proud to represent both organizations in promoting excellence in corporate reporting. These awards recognize companies that have advanced reporting practices by integrating financial performance, governance, sustainability initiatives, and strategic resource management, reflecting the expectations of investors, regulators, and society.

In today’s evolving business environment, companies must manage risks proactively, demonstrate resilience, and provide clear, forward-looking disclosures.

BCSRA provides a platform for organizations to highlight innovative practices, benchmark against peers, and showcase leadership in sustainable business. Such efforts set examples for the corporate community, showing how comprehensive reporting strengthens decision-making and stakeholder confidence.

I congratulate all award recipients for their commitment to rigorous reporting and sustainable practices. I also appreciate the Joint Committee of ICMA and ICAP and the Technical Evaluation Committee for their meticulous work, ensuring the awards remain credible, relevant, and aligned with international standards.
