In a significant move aimed at bolstering economic development in Balochistan, Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti approved the establishment of the Bank of Balochistan during a high-level meeting in Quetta, Aaj News reported.

An initial feasibility report submitted at the meeting deemed the project viable, prompting Bugti to direct authorities to finalise the operational plan within one week.

The new provincial bank is expected to offer quality banking services to the general public, traders, and investors across the province.
