KARACHI: SSGC’s relentless pursuit of gas theft miscreants is gaining momentum as more than 235 illegal connections were removed in the Company’s franchise areas during a fresh set of raids.
Theft Control Team of Customer Relations Department (CRD) went full throttle against gas theft miscreants in Karachi’s localities of Nazimabad, North Karachi and New Karachi and collectively removed 185 illegal connections from households that had extended gas supply arrangement from existing meter and service points through rubber pipes.
Theft claims are being raised by SSGC to recover the pilfered amount. Concerned raiding parties in Quetta, Mastung, Nawabshah and Larkana cracked down on residents stealing gas through underground and overhead theft clamps and removed more than 50 illegal connections. Theft claims are also being raised by SSGC.
