ISLAMABAD: A local court, on Wednesday, acquitted Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founding chairman Imran Khan from a case registered against him regarding violation of Section 144 during PTI’s Azadi March.
Judicial Magistrate Sohaib Bilal announced its reserved judgment and acquitted Khan from a case registered at Khanna police station on a charge of violation of Section 144.
The judge observed that due to insufficient evidence, the court approved the acquittal application of Khan.
