KARACHI: On Friday at PMEX, the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 36.085 billion and the number of lots traded was 24,159.
Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 22.092 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 (PKR 3.969 billion), Currencies through COTS (PKR 3.334 billion), Silver (PKR 2.823 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.332 billion), Platinum (PKR 1.297 billion), Copper (PKR 346.076 million), DJ (PKR 325.899 million), SP 500 (PKR 309.615 million), Natural Gas (PKR 226.575 million) and Brent (PKR 26.842million).
In Agricultural commodities, 12 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 14.469 million were traded.
