KAMPALA: The Ugandan shilling was weaker against the dollar on Wednesday compared to the previous session, hurt by foreign exchange demand from energy importers and manufacturing firms, traders said.

Ugandan shilling little changed as commodity flows lend support

At 0929 GMT commercial banks quoted the shilling at 3,885/3,895, compared to Tuesday’s close of 3,875/3,885.
