KARACHI: On Tuesday at PMEX, the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 19.139 billion and the number of lots traded was 17,494.

Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 8.379billion, followed byCurrencies through COTS (PKR 4.668billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.935 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.765 billion), Silver (PKR 595.226million), Platinum (PKR 547.979 million), Japan Equity (PKR 327.614 million), DJ (PKR 315.886 million), SP 500 (PKR 204.751 million), Brent (PKR 170.510 million), Natural Gas (PKR 161.865 million)and Copper (PKR 67.481 million).

In Agricultural commodities, 33 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR48.961 were traded.
