KARACHI: On Monday at PMEX, the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 18.235 billion and the number of lots traded was 15,513.

Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 6.665 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 3.807 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 3.481 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.934 billion), Silver (PKR 616.112 million), Platinum (PKR 448.804 million), SP 500 (PKR 351.449 million), DJ (PKR 342.381 million), Japan Equity (PKR 181.760 million), Palladium (PKR 156.267 million), Copper (PKR 101.257 million), Natural Gas (PKR 93.261 million) and Brent (PKR 55.125 million).

In Agricultural commodities, 70 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR145.056 were traded.
