Israel, Saudi Arabia see progress on ties as Iran sounds warning

NEW YORK: Saudi Arabia and Israel voiced optimism Wednesday that they were moving closer to a historic normalization of ties as Iran — their common foe — accused the kingdom of betraying the Palestinians through the US-led effort.

US President Joe Biden is hoping to transform the Middle East — and score an election-year diplomatic victory — by securing recognition of the Jewish state by Saudi Arabia, the guardian of Islam’s two holiest sites.

Meeting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in New York on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, Biden quipped that he had “Irish optimism” on securing a deal with Saudi Arabia.

They will promise MBS the moon. After the normalization is done, they will say the moon is now his. He can go get it anytime he wants. It will be no different than the F-35 promised to MBZ.

Neither the people in KSA nor in UAE or for that matter Muslims around the world support normalization with Israel. They fully support the Palestinians until they get their lands back.

The Zionists started spreading propaganda that the Muslims and the Arabs have forsaken the Palestinians, after UAE normalized relations with Israel. The support that Palestinians got during soccer World Cup in Qatar put to rest that propaganda.

Israel continues to build settlements in Palestinian lands. Palestinians are getting killed. The influence that UAE is supposed to have gotten after normalizing relations with Israel hasn’t done much at all.

As long as the west can benefit from the dividend in the Muslim world, it will do it's utmost to promote this divide. The fault is not theirs, it is ours.
