KARACHI: On Monday at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 17.059 billion and the number of lots traded was 13,061.
Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 6.640 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 3.261 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 2.501 billion), Platinum (PKR 1.653 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.472 billion), Silver (PKR 448.110 million), DJ (PKR 353.671 million), Natural Gas (PKR 336.782 million), SP 500 (PKR 193.474 million), Japan Equity (PKR 77.527 million), Brent (PKR 51.044 million), Palladium (PKR 37.429 million) and Copper (PKR 32.945 million).
In Agricultural commodities, 17 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 22.287 million were traded.
