KARACHI: Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC) has organised an informative seminar regarding “Changing Dynamics of Maritime Industry” at PNSC Building here on Thursday.
The seminar was organised to enhance the awareness of new regulations and understanding of upcoming challenges in maritime sector. Chairman PNSC Rear Admiral Jawad Ahmed was the chief guest of the seminar.
The participants from both government and private sectors attended the seminar to discuss their requirements and ideas for enhancement of shipping industry in Pakistan.
Chairman PNSC Rear Admiral Jawad Ahmed, in his speech said that maritime sector is facing many challenges. The regulations on international level in maritime sector are changing and it is necessary to create awareness among the people related to this very important sector.
He said PNSC, as an important entity of maritime sector, is playing its due role. “We will continue to play our due role as we have planned to organise more seminars to create awareness in this sector in Pakistan”, he added.
