KARACHI: On Friday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 8.657 billion and the number of lots traded 8,056. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 3.240 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 1.541 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.076 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.016 billion), DJ (PKR 550.088 million), Silver (PKR 440.282 million), Platinum (PKR 304.019 million), Natural Gas (PKR 192.253 million), SP 500 (PKR 178.243 million) and Copper (PKR 116.708 million).
In Agricultural commodities, 2 lot of Cotton amounting to PKR 1.999 million were traded.
