KARACHI: On Wednesday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 14.068 billion and the number of lots traded 9,491. Major business was contributed by NSDQ 100 amounting to PKR 4.207 billion, followed by Gold (PKR 3.591 billion), Currencies through COTS (PKR 1.982 billion), DJ (PKR 1.624 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.074 billion), Platinum (PKR 635.295 million), Silver (PKR 499.963 million), SP 500 (PKR 202.269 million), Copper (PKR 110.673 million), Natural Gas (PKR 99.294 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 40.851 million).
In Agricultural commodities, 5 lot of Cotton amounting to PKR 4.849 million were traded.
