KARACHI: On Tuesday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 8.195 billion and the number of lots traded at 8,876. Major business was contributed by Currencies through COTS amounting to PKR 3.384 billion, followed by Gold (PKR 1.711 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.063 billion), Silver (PKR 760.250 million), Copper (PKR 418.565 million), Platinum (PKR 309.362 million), Crude Oil (PKR 180.082 million), Natural Gas (PKR 155.440 million), DJ (PKR 120.317 million), SP 500 (PKR 77.859 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 13.463 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 19 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 13.249 million were traded.
