KARACHI: Gold prices on Tuesday dropped by Rs200 per tola on the local market, traders said.

A fall of Rs 200 in the yellow metal price lowered its value to Rs112350 per tola.

Similarly, price of the precious metal per 10 grams went down by Rs171 to Rs96322. Traders quoted gold sales at $1888 per ounce, down by $4 on the global market.

Silver was traded for Rs1200 per tola, down by Rs20; Rs1028.80 per 10 grams, down by Rs17.15 and $24.65 per ounce, traders said.
