South Korea's KFA buys about 65,000 tonnes corn in tender
- The corn was sought for arrival in South Korea around March 30, 2021.
HAMBURG: The Korea Feed Association (KFA) purchased around 65,000 tonnes of animal feed corn in an international tender which closed on Friday, European traders said.
It was all purchased at an estimated $246.83 a tonne c&f, traders said.
Seller was believed to be trading house CHS.
The corn was sought for arrival in South Korea around March 30, 2021.
The tender sought corn sourced from South America only.
But trading houses participating in the tender generally made offers of corn sourced optionally from origins alongside South America, traders said.
