Russia's gold production falls to 215 T in Jan-Aug

MOSCOW: Russia produced 214.59 tonnes of gold from January to August, down from 232.16 tonnes during the same period in 2019, the finance ministry said on Friday.

The country also produced 594.99 tonnes of silver during the first eight months of the year, a figure lower than the 634.84 tonnes produced over the same period last year.
