Gold hits another historic peak

KARACHI: Gold on Wednesday hit another historic peak of Rs109300 per tola, up by Rs400 on the local market, traders said. The precious metal was selling for Rs93707 per 10 grams, up by Rs343 on the local market and traded for $1808 an ounce, up by $14 on the international market. Silver was available for Rs1100 per tola, up by Rs40, 943.07 per 10 grams, up by Rs32.29 and $19.32 an ounce, traders said.
