Final matches of first Chairman POF Board Badminton Championship were held at Badminton Hall, POF Sports Complex Wah Cantt. In ladies single event, Miss Nosheen Assistant Manager Services took first position, Miss Sehar Saleem Cantt College second position, while Dr Zareen Assistant Professor COMSATS third position.
In men's single event, Brigadier Taqdess Ahmed (Retd.) Director POF Welfare Trust took first position, Brigadier Fiaz Mahmood Qamar Director Security second position, while Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Tariq Shaad CO DSG third position in the final. In men's double event, Brigadier Fiaz Mahmood Qamar Director Security and Amjad Ishaq AM Services took first position, Muhammad Rizwan MD Explosives & Abdul Shaffaq Assistant Account Officer CMA second position while Adnan Adil AM POF Havelian & Iftikhar Ahmed Bajwa POF Havelian third position in the final event.
In young officers single event, Abdul Shaffaq Assistant Account Officer took first position, Naveed Hussain Shah second position, while Adnan Adil Assistant Manager POF Havelian third position. More than 70 officers including women employees participated in the tournament. Chairman POF Board Lieutenant General Muhammad Ahsan Mahmood, HI (M) was the chief guest on the occasion.-PR
