Police launch search operation around airport area

RAWALPINDI: Police on Thursday carried out a search operation in the jurisdiction of Airport Police Station, but no suspects were arrested.

The operation was carried out on the special directives of City Police Officer (CPO) Israr Ahmed Khan Abbasi to curb crime.

During the operation police questioned 346 persons and checked 53 houses, hotels, motels and vehicles, the police spokesman said.
