Ivory Coast 2019/20 cocoa grinding reached 377,000 T by end May

ABIDJAN: Ivory Coast cocoa grinders had processed 377,000 tonnes of beans by the end of May, up from 364,000 tonnes in the same period last season, data from exporters' association GEPEX showed on Friday.

Grinders processed 49,000 tonnes of beans in May 2020, up from 47,000 tonnes in May 2019.

The GEPEX data covers six of the largest grinding companies, including Barry Callebaut AG, Olam International Ltd and Cargill Inc, among 12 active firms.
