Raw sugar dips amid easing tightness in refined supplies

October raw sugar was down 0.05 cents, or 0.4%, at 12.11 cents per lb at 1515 GMT, after testing but failing to breach resistance at 12.25 cents on Wednesday.
September robusta coffee fell $9, or 0.8%, to $1,195 a tonne.

Palm up 1.5pc as crude oil extend gains

The benchmark palm oil contract for September delivery on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange closed 1.5% higher at 2,361 ringgit ($551.25).
Crude oil prices rose on Thursday as a sharp drop in oil stockpiles, making palm a more attractive option for biodiesel feedstock.

Oil prices slip on demand fears as U.S. virus cases surge

U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures fell 10 cents, or 0.3%, to $39.72 a barrel at 0148 GMT, trimming a 1.4% rise from Wednesday.
Brent crude futures eased 6 cents, or 0.1%, to $41.97 a barrel, after rising 1.8% in the previous session.
