OGDC declares 27.5pc dividend

KARACHI: Oil & Gas Development Company Ltd (OGDCL) has posted a higher profit after tax of Rs 96.905 billion for the year ending June 30, 2012 and declared a final cash dividend of Rs 2.75 per share.

According to financial results sent to KSE here Thursday, the pre-tax profit of the company also surged to Rs 133.082 billion compared to Rs 90.982 billion last year.

The earning per share improved to Rs 22.53 in the period under review as against Rs 14.77 in 2011.
