LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange on Wednesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 89.87 point as the LSE-25 Index opened with 3637.38 and closed at 3727.25 points.
The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 551,010 shares to close against previous turnover of 466,695 shares, showing a upward move of 184,315 shares. While, out of the total 103 active scrips 45 moved up, 53 remained equal and 5 shed values.
Engro Corporation Limited, ICI Pakistan Limited and Muslim Commercial Bank Limited were Major Gainer of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 4.87, Rs 4.57 and Rs 3.75, respectively.
Habib Bank Limited, Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim and Nishat (Chunian) Limited lost their per share value by Rs 1.42, Re 0.79 and Re 0.11, respectively.
The Volume Leader of the day included The Bank of Punjab Limited with 1.797 million shares, Larfarge Pakistan Cement with 669,545 and Fauji Cement Company Limited with 475,048 shares.
