TOCOM futures rise in line with Shanghai

TOKYO:* Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM) futures for February delivery

on Tuesday finished 1.9 yen, or 1.2%, higher at 163.8 yen per kg as Shanghai prices gained

* The most-active rubber contract on the Shanghai futures exchange for September delivery rose 1.4% to 11,535 yuan per tonne by 0700 GMT

* The U.S. dollar was quoted around 105.67, compared with around 106.12 yen on Monday afternoon

* Oil prices were higher with Brent up by 0.3% and U.S. crude gaining 0.2%

* Japan's benchmark Nikkei stock average ended trading 1% higher

* TOCOM's TSR 20 futures contract for February delivery

closed unchanged at 141 yen per kg

* The front-month rubber contract on Singapore's SICOM exchange for September delivery recently traded at 128.9 U.S. cents per kg unchanged from the previous close
