HAMBURG: South Korea's Feed Leaders Committee (FLC) purchased about 60,000 tonnes of feed wheat to be sourced from optional origins in a private deal on Monday without issuing an international tender, European traders said on Wednesday.

Although optional origin, the wheat was thought likely to be sourced from the Black Sea region with shipment between Aug. 20 and Sept. 20.

It was purchased at $218.00 a tonne c&f plus a $1.00 a tonne surcharge for additional port unloading. Seller was believed to be trading house Glencore.
