CHICAGO: Chicago Board of Trade soybean futures sagged 1.2 percent on Friday, snapping a four-session streak of gains, on concerns about trade with Mexico after President Trump threatened to impose tariffs on the second

biggest buyer of US soybeans.

* Soymeal and soyoil contracts also posted lower closes.

* Despite the weakness on Friday, the most-active soybean futures contract still rose 5.9% this week, its biggest weekly rally since July 2017.

* Soybean futures rose 2.9% during May.

* The US Agriculture Department said on Friday morning that soybean export sales totaled 477,700 tonnes in the latest reporting week, in line with forecasts that ranged from 250,000 to 700,000 tonnes.
