Philippines tenders to buy up to 60,000 tonnes wheat - trade

HAMBURG: A group of importers in the Philippines has issued an international tender to purchase 55,000 tonnes to 60,000 tonnes of feed wheat, European traders said on Thursday.

The tender closed on Wednesday with shipment requested between May and September.

Talks continue and no purchase has yet been reported.

Traders said negotiations are concentrated on the nearby shipment period and some said a sale for the later shipment time around September is being regarded as less likely.
