HAMBURG: Turkey's state grain board TMO provisionally bought about 300,000 tonnes of corn in a series of international tenders which closed on Tuesday, European traders said.
The results are subject to confirmation.
Lowest price was said to be $179.80 a tonne on a cost and freight (c&f) basis.
TMO had issued 24 separate tenders each of 12,500 tonnes, traders said.
Traders said these purchases were made in dollars a tonne c&f (including ocean shipping costs) to the Turkish port named.
