DG NAB KP to hear public complaints against corrupt elements on Feb 28

PESHAWAR: Acting on the orders of Chairman NAB Justice (Retd), Javed Iqbal, Director General NAB Khyber Pakthunkhwa Farmanullah Khan will hear public complaints against corrupt elements on Thursday.
Keeping in view of increasing tendencies of corruption in the society, Chairman NAB has decided to hear people’s complaints by himself and directed Provincials Director General of the bureau to also hear public complaints, says a NAB KP statement issued here.
Director General NAB Khyber Pakthunkhwa, Farmanullah Khan will hear live public complaints at NAB KP Office PDA Complex Hayatabad Phase V from 2pm to 4 pm.
On this occasion, all members of the complaints scrutiny committee will accompany the Director General.
The cooperation of masses is necessary for complete elimination of corruption. The DG NAB KP will hear complaints against any official who unlawfully financially helped other persons from government kitty or involved in embezzlement of funds and accumulated assets beyond known sources of income besides has not given contracts of officials’ projects as per approved rules and regulations.
Complaints against elements involved in financial embezzlement and deceiving people at large on name of plots or extra profits through fraudulent means besides tempted people on name of sending them abroad would be heard.
Complaints against all those housing societies that embezzled money from public, people involved in bank frauds with connivance with bank authorities, corrupt officials demanding unlawful money and loans through fraud tactics would also be heard.
The complainants are requested to come to NAB Office along with their written complaints with a photocopy of National Identity Card and preliminary evidences containing necessary documents.
