Twitter goes gaga over Mo Salah’s decision to fast during Champions League final

The 25-year-old Egyptian footballer, Mo Salah, who recently made history by bagging this year’s ‘Premier League Player of the Year’, is back in the news but this time the athlete is inspiring many with his holy act.

Salah, who has led his team Liverpool to the upcoming Champions League finale this Saturday against Real Madrid, is said to be fasting during his play off. The footballer is said to fast for more than 18 hours, during which Salah will also battle to win the final title.

If the star athlete wins this match, Salah will increase his chances of winning the ‘Ballon d’Or’, an award that has only been shared with Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo for the past 10 years. Hearing about the fasting news of the athlete known by the titles of ‘Egyptian King’ and ‘The Pharoah’, twitter went crazy and started praising the star.
