LAHORE: The Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (PCBDDA), also known as CBD Punjab, has completed the elevation work of all commercial units at CBD Walk, bringing the project closer to operational readiness.

Designed as a contemporary retail and fine-dining destination, CBD Walk is expected to introduce new commercial opportunities while adding to Lahore’s evolving urban landscape.

The development comprises 32 commercial units, each spread over four marlas, featuring basements, ground floors, two additional floors and rooftop spaces. The installation of travertine and glass across the exterior elevations has been completed, giving the development a distinctive contemporary architectural identity. The project is expected to become operational soon.

Further strengthening infrastructure along CBD Route 47, the corridor’s first petrol station, located near CBD Walk, has also become operational. The facility will provide essential services and added convenience to motorists, commuters and visitors travelling along this strategically important route.

In another significant development, CBD Punjab has accelerated the up-gradation of CBD Lake, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable infrastructure and responsible water resource management. Spanning more than 20 kanals, with a depth of 25 feet, the lake has an estimated storage capacity of five million gallons of rainwater. The facility will support groundwater recharge and provide an additional water resource for construction-related activities.

Marble installation across the lake’s base and slopes is currently underway. The development will also feature modern high-tech fountains designed to facilitate water aeration while enhancing the lake’s visual appeal.

CEO CBD Punjab Imran Amin stated that the authority remains committed to transforming Lahore through modern commercial destinations, improved urban infrastructure and sustainable development initiatives. He highlighted that CBD Walk will create new opportunities for retail and fine dining businesses, while the operationalisation of Route 47’s first petrol station will further enhance convenience along the corridor.
