ISLAMABAD: PIA is focusing on improving all aspects of airline operations and efforts are being made towards achieving high service standards.
As part of the initiatives being taken, PIA commenced an aircraft cabin cleanliness drive to further improve aircraft cabin cleanliness.
The cabin cleanliness drive was initiated simultaneously at Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi with inspections by PIA evaluation teams.
A simple ceremony was held at PIA Islamabad Office to recognize the the efforts and performance of employees.
CEO PIA, Adrian Hamilton-Manns said aircraft cleanliness was extremely important and that maintaining the airline’s brand at the highest standards was essential.
He said keeping aircraft in the best condition remained a top priority for the airline.
On the occasion, employees who played a prominent role in maintaining cleanliness were presented with shields and certificates, while cash awards were also given to employees in recognition of their performance.
