KARACHI: The initial public offering (IPO) of Tasdeeq Information Services Limited (TISL) has concluded with strong demand from retail investors, with the general public portion of the offering oversubscribed 21.68 times, according to the company.

The general public subscribed to around 813 million shares through 11,358 applications, with total retail subscriptions amounting to approximately Rs2.4 billion, the company said in an announcement following the conclusion of the offering.

In view of the strong demand, the allocation for general public investors has been increased from 25 percent to 35 percent of the shares offered to the public, which the company described as the first such increase in Pakistan’s IPO history.

Under the revised allocation mechanism, applicants seeking more than 2,000 shares will be allotted 5.32 percent of their requested shares on a pro-rata basis, according to the announcement.

The IPO comprised 150 million ordinary shares, which were initially offered at a floor price of Rs1.90 per share. The strike price was subsequently determined at Rs3 per share through the book-building process conducted on August 5 and 6, 2026.

The general public subscription was held on August 11 and 12, 2026.

The company said that, out of a total 219 million shares, 69 million shares were placed with pre-IPO investors. These shares represented an offer for sale by minority shareholders, according to the announcement.

The strong retail participation reflects significant investor interest in the offering, with the general public subscription substantially exceeding the number of shares initially earmarked for retail investors.

Topline Securities Limited is acting as the consultant to the issue. The company thanked investors for their participation and said the successful completion of the IPO marked a significant milestone for Tasdeeq Information Services Limited.
