ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari on Sunday extended felicitations to President of Singapore Tharman Shanmugaratnam, the government and the people of Singapore on their 61st National Day.
“The president, in his letter, stated that Pakistan deeply admires Singapore’s remarkable journey of nation-building and economic transformation, achieved through visionary leadership, prudent governance and the unwavering commitment of its people,” said an official statement issued Sunday.
The president noted that Singapore’s success stood as an inspiring example of resilience, innovation and progress, the statement added.
