ISLAMABAD: In connection with the Makkah joint defence pact, Islamabad Police organized a grand flag march in the federal capital to express solidarity with the strong brotherly relations, mutual cooperation and joint defence commitment between Pakistan, Türkiye and Saudi Arabia.

The flag march was led by SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza and attended by SSP Security & Administration Sulaiman Zafar, SP City zone and other senior police officers.

The flag march commenced from the Sports Complex and passed through various major roads of the federal capital before concluding. During the flag march, the national flags of Pakistan, Türkiye and Saudi Arabia were prominently displayed. The atmosphere resonated with slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad” and “Long Live Pakistan-Türkiye-Saudi Arabia Friendship.”

On the occasion, SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza said that the brotherly relations and joint defence commitment between Pakistan, Türkiye and Saudi Arabia are a symbol of shared strength and unity. He said that the flag march organized by Islamabad Police represents a strong expression of national unity, defence cooperation, brotherhood and solidarity with the brotherly Islamic countries. He said that the strong and longstanding relations between Pakistan, Türkiye and Saudi Arabia are a matter of pride, while mutual trust, cooperation and partnership among the three countries are important for promoting peace, stability and unity in the region.

SSP Operations further stated that through the flag march, Islamabad Police had conveyed a message of national dignity, patriotism, defence solidarity and strong bonds with brotherly Islamic countries. He added that the strong partnership among the three countries is a clear symbol of their shared commitment, unity and brotherhood.

He further said that Islamabad Police is committed not only to protecting the lives and property of citizens and maintaining law and order, but also to playing its role in promoting national unity, solidarity, friendship and brotherhood with brotherly countries.

Similarly, to express solidarity with Pakistan, Türkiye and Saudi Arabia and highlight their joint defence commitment, all major Islamabad Police buildings have been illuminated with special decorative lighting, while the national flags of Pakistan, Türkiye and Saudi Arabia have also been displayed on police buildings.

The police officers and personnel participating in the flag march paid tribute to the strong relations, mutual respect and shared commitment among the three brotherly countries. Citizens also warmly welcomed the flag march, reflecting their appreciation for the message of friendship, unity and solidarity.
