Philippines central bank sees July inflation at 5.6% to 6.6%

MANILA: Philippine inflation was likely within the 5.6% to 6.6% range in July, the central bank said on Friday.

The central bank said “it will remain vigilant and guided” by data, and will continue tracking developments in the Middle East and its impact on prices and economic activity.

The Philippines’ statistics agency will release inflation data on August 5.
