QUETTA: Security forces are continuing intelligence-based Operation Al-Azm in Balochistan, carrying out targeted counterterrorism operations against Fitna al-Hindustan terrorists.
Security sources said the latest operation was conducted in the Khad Kocha area of Mastung district, where security forces successfully engaged terrorist elements, inflicting heavy losses on the group.
Security sources said the total number of terrorists killed since the launch of Operation Al-Azm has risen to 13.
During the operation, security forces destroyed several terrorist hideouts and recovered a cache of weapons, ammunition, and materials used for manufacturing improvised explosive devices (IEDs).
Several Fitna al-Hindustan terrorists were also injured during the operation, the sources said.
The operation is continuing to eliminate the remaining terrorist elements and dismantle their infrastructure in the area.
