LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain said here on Thursday that Pakistan too could achieve development by following the Chinese model.
He was talking to a delegation of Chinese traders, led by the deputy mayor of Hunan province’s Loudi city Yang Wai, here on Thursday.
During the meeting, bilateral relations and economic cooperation between Pakistan and China came under discussion.
Speaking on the occasion, Chaudhry Shujaat said that China was Pakistan’s sincere and time-tested friend. “Whether it is a war, an earthquake or flood or any other calamity, China has always stood by Pakistan,” he said, adding that Pakistan was the first country to recognize China.
Speaking on the occasion, Wai expressed the hope that Pak-China ties would strengthen further in future.
