FAISALABAD: Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) under the leadership of its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Engr Muhammad Aamer, has achieved remarkable and record-setting performance during the financial year 2025–26 in the areas of Power Distribution, reduction in line losses, recovery and financial management.

Through a comprehensive strategy, effective administrative measures and the tireless efforts of its officers and officials, FESCO successfully met all targets set by the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA).

FESCO reduced its distribution line losses to 7.87 percent, successfully achieving NEPRA’s prescribed target of 8.03 percent. In comparison with the previous financial year, the company recorded a significant 1.02 percent reduction in line losses, reflecting the effectiveness of its operational strategy and practical measures to curb electricity losses. Similarly, AT&C losses were reduced from 8.55 percent to 7.51 percent, marking a record decline of 1.04 percent. This achievement demonstrates the organization’s strong administrative capacity, effective anti-power theft campaign, improvements in the distribution network and coordinated recovery efforts.

In the recovery sector, FESCO delivered exceptional performance by achieving 100.39 percent progressive recovery successfully meeting NEPRA’s prescribed target. In addition the company achieved an impressive 108.59 percent monthly recovery, setting another milestone. These outstanding results reflect FESCO’s commitment to timely resolution of consumer complaints, efficient billing, effective recovery of outstanding dues, and sound financial discipline.

FESCO also recorded a notable achievement in financial management by generating Rs3.02 billion in additional revenue. This achievement has further strengthened the company’s financial position while making a significant contribution toward reducing the circular debt.

On this outstanding performance, CEO FESCO Engr Muhammad Aamer congratulated the entire FESCO management, Chief Engineers, Superintending Engineers, Executive Engineers, officers, employees, and field staff. He said that these achievements were the result of collective teamwork, professional competence, transparent administrative policies, effective monitoring, and the unwavering dedication of the company’s workforce. He reiterated that FESCO’s foremost priority remains the provision of reliable, safe, and uninterrupted electricity to consumers, further reduction in power losses, continuous improvement in recovery, and strengthening the company’s financial performance.

The CEO reaffirmed FESCO’s commitment to maintaining its high standards of performance during the financial year 2026–27 and achieving all targets assigned by NEPRA. He emphasized that every available resource would be utilized to further improve the organization’s operational efficiency and service delivery.
