KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 127,466 Tons of Cargo Comprising 72,863 Tons of Import Cargo and 54,603 Tons of Export Cargo during last 24 hrs ending at 0700 hours.
The Total Import Cargo of 72,863 Tons Comprised of 56,084 Tons of Containerized Cargo, and 16,779 Tons of Liquid Cargo.
The Total Export Cargo of 54,603 Tons Comprised of 23,665 Tons of Containerized Cargo, 482 Tons of Bulk Cargo, 2,974 Tons of Cement, 17,475 Tons of Clinkers, 3,479 Tons of Rice, 2,428 Tons of Talc Powder, and 4,100 Tons of Liquid Cargo.
There are seven ships namely X-Press Carina, GC Argon, Marine Ista, Atheian Star, Marine Xena, Safeen Power, and Lucia on Berth at Karachi Port Trust.
Ten ships namely Ginga Puma, GFS Jade, Ts Mumbai, M.T. Mardan, P. Aliki, M.T Khairpur, Zhong Gu Lan Zhou, Obsession, Marine Xena, and Athenian Star sailed from Karachi Port Trust.
Port Qasim
A total of twelve ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them two ships, Avra and Yashar left the port on today morning and six more ships, Brooklyn Bridge, GFS Jade, CC Yantai, PGC Perklis, Photon and HT Unite are expected to sail on Wednesday.
Cargo volume of 86,149 tones comprising 65,561 tones imports cargo and 20,588 export cargo carried in 2,263 Containers (1,233 TEUs Imports and 1,030 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 09 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them two ships, LV Estia and Posidon GR and two more ships, Photon and Hansa African carrying Gasoline, Coal and Container are expected to take berths FOTCO, PIBT and QICT respectively on 8th July, 2026.
