LAHORE: On the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Special Assistant for the Inspection Team, Shoaib Mirza, visited the home of eight-year-old Muntaha in Sargodha to meet her grieving family.
Muntaha’s life was taken in a horrific act of violence that has shaken the entire province.
Sitting with Muntaha’s parents and relatives, Special Assistant to CM conveyed the Chief Minister’s deepest condolences. He prayed for Muntaha’s soul to rest in peace, and for her family to find strength in this unimaginable loss.
“Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif is personally following this case,” Mirza told the family. “No child should ever suffer like this. The Punjab government will leave no stone unturned to ensure Muntaha gets justice, and that those responsible are held fully accountable under the law.” He added that protecting children and delivering swift justice is a foremost responsibility of the government.
“Under CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s leadership, there is no tolerance for such cruelty,” he said. “We are committed to making sure this never happens again to another innocent child in Punjab.”
