FAISALABAD: The Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with London South Bank University (LSBU), United Kingdom, to strengthen cooperation in research, innovation, commercialisation and academic exchange. The agreement was signed during an official visit to the UK by GCUF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Rauf-i-Azam and LSBU Pro Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Rodney Day.
The partnership aims to promote collaborative research, student and faculty exchange programmes, joint degree opportunities in line with Higher Education Commission (HEC) policies, and capacity-building initiatives. The GCUF and LSBU are already collaborating in the fields of nanotechnology, materials science in addition with environmental sciences, health sciences and engineering.
