Thai April exports rise 23.1% y/y, beats forecast
- Imports rose 45% in April from a year earlier

BANGKOK: Thailand’s customs-cleared exports rose 23.1% in April from a year earlier, the commerce ministry said on Monday, higher than analysts’ expectations.
The April reading compared with a forecast rise of 17.3% in a Reuters poll and followed an annual increase of 18.7% in the previous month.
