IT certifications holders: PITB hosts cheque distribution ceremony

LAHORE: The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) on Monday hosted a cheque distribution ceremony to recognise young professionals who have successfully obtained internationally accredited IT certifications through its Global IT Certifications Programme.

During the ceremony, PITB Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Nadia Riaz, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Adil Iqbal Khan, and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) Sajjad Ghani presented fee reimbursement cheques ranging from Rs 50,000 to Rs 200,000 to over 40 participants from various academic and professional backgrounds. The event was also attended by PITB Director of Skills Development Chaudhry Ahmed Islam and other senior officials.

The Global IT Certifications Programme aims to provide financial support to aspiring IT professionals seeking globally recognised certifications. This assistance empowers them to enhance their technical skills and remain competitive in the rapidly evolving digital landscape.
