KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 112,135 tonnes of Cargo Comprising 58,433 tonnes of Import Cargo and 53,702 tonnes of Export Cargo during last 24 hours, ending at 0700 hours.
The Total Import Cargo of 58,433 tonnes Comprised of 17,270 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 6,032 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo, 2,558 tonnes of Mop, 5,287 tonnes of Soya Beans Seeds & 27,826 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
The Total Export Cargo of 53,702 tonnes Comprised of 32,173 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 663 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo, 8,723 tonnes of Clinkers, 911 tonnes of Rice & 11,232 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
Around, 03 ships namely, Albert P, Star Bright & MT Karachi berthed at the Karachi Port Trust.
Approximately, 05 ships namely, Zhong Kun 611, Clearocean Apollon, Delphinus C, Ym Excellence & Martini sailed from the Karachi Port Trust.
PORT QASIM
A total of nine ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them three ships, Chemroad Polaris, Eraclea and Chemroad Haya left the port on Monday morning, while two more ships, Delphinus-C and Lian Shan Hu are expected to sail on Monday.
Cargo volume of 103,808 tones comprising 97,348 tones imports cargo and 6,460 export cargo carried in 744 Containers (364 TEUs Imports & 380 TEUs Export)was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 13 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them four ships, Margarita, Jahan Brother, Eastern Kalmia and Hansa Europe & three more ships, Albert-P, MSC Tawish and Mookda Naree carrying Gas oil, Coal, Container and General Cargo expected to take berths FOTCO, PQPET, PIBT, QICT and MW-1 respectively on Monday 27th April, 2026.
