KARACHI: Sindh Governor Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi on Saturday held meetings with political leaders and a Punjab Minister, underscoring the importance of political stability, inter-party dialogue and strengthening the rule of law.
In a meeting at the Governor House, leaders of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F), including Abdul Ghafoor Haideri and Maulvi Usman, congratulated the Governor on assuming office, and discussed the country’s political situation and public issues.
Both sides emphasised the need to promote political stability, tolerance and democratic continuity, agreeing that national challenges could be addressed through unity and consultation.
Hashmi reiterated his commitment to fostering constructive engagement with all political parties.
